COME BACK TO LIFE

Men’s groups and 1x1 coaching for reclaiming the fullness of being human.

Jeremy Berger outdoors in Colorado
About

I offer individual coaching and men’s groups, helping people reclaim their vitality and reason for being alive.

One of my mentors says that healing is being able to relax in the presence of another. Simple, not easy. When we’re truly relaxed we contact our feelings, intuitions, and particular genius. The fire inside us burns brightly. I make space for this beautiful and at times rigorous journey with my heart, presence, and willingness to look directly at life.

The impact of our work will ripple out through your relationships: to yourself, to friends and lovers, and to your work.

Approach

The theory behind the coaching

R.D. Laing said there are basically two kinds of therapy. In one, you’re an object to be fixed; in another, you’re a person to be accepted.

Most therapy and coaching is about trying to get you to be different. My style is about building a real heart–to–heart relationship where you can get to know yourself, deeply appreciate yourself, and change because life is naturally evolutionary.

I draw on my training in Hakomi mindfulness–based somatic psychotherapy, mentorship with Bruce Sanguin, profound lived understanding of trauma and recovery, existential philosophy, leadership experience in startups and magazines, and the everyday curriculum of being in a human body.

01

Direct experience

Emotions, sensations, intuitions, your own particular genius. We practice coming back to what you actually feel, in your body, in the present moment.

02

Authentic relationship

Being met directly by another human being without an agenda is what makes the rest possible. It’s also the training ground for all your other relationships—husband or wife, business partners, friends.

03

Freedom

Most of us created a false self to survive childhood or adapt to the conditions of our world. When we wake up to our freedom, there is often grief for the ways we’ve lived. This is good news, and I will help you navigate it.

04

Practices for life

For those who want it, I help you create practices and routines to connect to your natural vitality and come back to life.

Testimonials

What clients are saying

I worked with Jeremy several years in a row. In that time, he helped me through several significant life events, including intensive surgery and relational and emotional issues. Jeremy’s coaching was critical in helping me reach my full potential at work: by consistently addressing baggage that I’d carried for years, I became more direct, assertive and confident in my own agency and personal value. I can say that working with Jeremy is one of the most important things I’ve ever done for myself; that is how much impact our time together had on my professional life and interpersonal skills.

Being part of this men’s group with Anthony and Jeremy over the past six months has been deeply transformative. They’ve created a space that feels grounded, safe, and honest. One where I could really show up as myself. It’s been one of the most meaningful men’s group experiences I’ve had and it was deeply supportive for me during a challenging time in my life.

Jeremy and Anthony’s men’s group is a true treasure. I arrived in the group at a low point in my life. I was met with deep care, compassion, and curiosity by Anthony, Jeremy, and the rest of the men in the group. Having a place where I felt completely safe to be vulnerable and honest about where I was at in life, and also discover where I wanted to go from there was invaluable.
